I bring my Valorant 5-stack here every Thursday. The 144Hz panels and zero-lag fibre completely changed our scrims — we qualified for a regional after three months of practising on these rigs.

NovaWild Frontier is a 60-seat gaming lounge and esports arena on Victoria Street. Drop in for RTX 4080 battlestations at 144Hz, weekly tournaments, and a barista-run café — all in the heart of Abbotsford.
Our Story
We opened the doors of NovaWild Frontier in 2021, turning a former textile warehouse two minutes from the Abbotsford Convent into a purpose-built gaming destination. Every rig is hand-tuned by our techs, every chair is a Secretlab Titan, and the fibre runs at a flat 8ms to the Melbourne servers.
Whether you're queuing solo on Valorant, running a 5-stack scrim, or hosting a birthday LAN, our floor staff keep the GPUs cool and the energy high. The lounge spills onto Victoria Street, so you're never far from a banh mi run between matches.
What We Offer
From walk-in casual play to broadcast-ready tournament production, the Frontier is built to handle it all.

Sixty identical rigs running Intel i7-14700K, RTX 4080 Super and 32GB DDR5, paired with 144Hz IPS panels and wired peripherals. Sit down, log into your Steam, Riot or Battle.net account, and you are in-game in under a minute.

A 10-seat competitive stage with 240Hz monitors, a casting desk and a 4-metre LED wall. We run the Frontier Friday Cup every week and host community qualifiers for CS2, Valorant and Rocket League with prize pools up to $2,000.

A proper Melbourne café inside the venue — single-origin coffee, loaded toasties and energy drinks delivered to your station. The mezzanine lounge has bean bags, Switch docks and four couch-coop setups for a slower-paced night.
Inside the Venue
From the main floor to the tournament stage, here is where you will be spending your next session.

Booked the arena for my brother's 18th and the staff ran the whole LAN for us — custom bracket, casting, the lot. Best birthday he's had. The toasties from the café are dangerously good too.

As a solo player I love that I can walk in after work, grab a coffee, and be in a ranked match within minutes. The Unlimited monthly pass paid for itself in two weeks for me.

Genuinely the cleanest, friendliest gaming space in Melbourne. Vegan snack menu is a nice touch and the mezzanine lounge is perfect for couch-coop nights with friends.

The Frontier Friday Cup got me back into competitive CS2. Friendly crowd, proper shoutcasting, and a real $2,000 prize pool. Worth the trip across the river every week.

Our uni esports club books the squad room here for training. Six stations together, private comms, and the techs sorted our drivers in minutes. Couldn't recommend it more.

All passes include access to the café ordering app and member-only Friday Cup discounts. Cancel anytime.

Our most popular pass for regulars.
Live here? Practically. So should your pass.
Absolutely. Casual walk-in play starts at $9 per hour and you only pay for the time you use. Memberships simply lower that rate and add perks like priority booking and free Friday Cup entry, so they make sense once you visit more than twice a month.
Casual and Pro plan hours reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. If you regularly have hours left, we usually recommend stepping down a tier so you only pay for what you play. The Unlimited plan removes the question entirely.
Private arena and squad-room bookings can be made through the café app or by calling us on +61 3 9416 1150. Arena hire includes a staff operator for casting and bracket management, and we recommend booking at least a week ahead for weekend slots.
There is metered street parking along Victoria Street and free two-hour parking on the surrounding Abbotsford backstreets after 6pm. We are also a five-minute walk from Victoria Park station, so most members train in to avoid the search.
